Our Process
Unless you work in the construction industry, renovating or improving your home can be tricky without the proper guidance & could even end as a nightmare when you are guided by the wrong people. Most companies are built for demand & production; which results in many projects going on at once & your project being split amongst many branches of management. That is not what KC Quality Contracting is about. Being in the business for (10) years, we have learned that the best way to guarantee a smooth project is to have (1) person manage the project from start to finish. Here at KC Quality Contracting, you deal with the owner from the first phone call to the completion of your project. Yes, keeping up with demand is hard but in no way should it ruin the quality of services being provided to you as the customer. You will have the owner by your side throughout our simple 5 step process.
STEP 1
CONTACT US
No matter how you found us, we are happy that you called & we are excited to get to know you & the project you have in mind! As lead designer & Project Manager, the owner will go over some basic information with you regarding your ideas, plans, & overall goals. Don’t over think what you have to ask or say. Remember, we are the ones that do this every day for a living. We will provide very helpful feedback & make sure all your questions are answered. We will spend as much time as you need to have your mind at ease & happy that you are starting this project with KC Quality Contacting!
STEP 2
LET’S MEET
Having a general idea of your project, we will come out to your home at our agreed time to start the proposal & design process. While getting to know you, learning your desires, & earning your trust; we will take pictures of the project area, get measurements, provide ideas, & figure out the best design to work with the theme of your home within your given budget. In most cases, your estimate will be presented to you before we leave your house. The time spent at your home varies depending on the size & design level of your project. Larger projects may take more than one visit & more than one person from the team might come to assist with pictures & measurement to speed up the process.
STEP 3
CONTRACT
We have designed, put together a detailed proposal for you & earned your trust. Our knowledge, experience, & vision for your space has you full of excitement and ready to start the project! Once the design, product samples, & estimate have been agreed on, you will sign a brief contract that will outline the payment terms & other details. We accept different forms of payments, including credit cards. There may be some time required to obtain township permits on the work, but most projects will start within weeks after signing!
STEP 4
SEE IT HAPPEN
Materials will go through a quality inspection & we will review the whole project with you & our team of professionals. By the end of the first day, our whole team will know exactly what needs to be done & you should see some work begin. Besides verbal explanation, our team will have written & drawn plans describing the work in detail to assure they follow everything as we designed & discussed with you. The owner of the company or an assigned project manager are always onsite. Our team of experts knows exactly what they are doing & you will never have to worry about the quality or craftsmanship of their work. You can feel safe that all floors will be covered, and the home will be dust controlled to the maximum capabilities. We respect the peace of your home throughout the installation process by working as quietly as construction can get & by cleaning up daily. We respect you, your family, your pets, your schedule, your ideas & your personal needs.
STEP 5
ENJOY
After everything has been completed to perfection, & you are satisfied with all the work, you will have a hard time not recommending us. We will provide all warranty information & project documents to you for records. We are proud of every project we complete & love to share our creativity with others. With your consent, we will schedule a final visit for our photographer to come out & do professional photos of the beautiful work we did in your home. After getting blasted with compliments about your new work on every holiday & family get together, you will have no regrets of making that first phone call to KC Quality Contracting.
